Labor Unity is a faction within the Australian Labor Party (ALP).

The ALP is a democratically governed Political Party, with 2 biannual conferences, 30 elected committees and over 900 elected positions.

Over time, a variety of structures have evolved to allow members to debate and coordinate their views across these bodies with factions remaining the most common method.

About Labor Unity

The Labor Unity faction represents the progressive moderate elements of the Australian Labor Party. We are the oldest, largest and strongest ALP faction in Australia. We are a diverse group of passionate people working together towards a better Australia.

Using established democratic processes, we debate and further policy discussions relevant to the Australian community. We provide services for our members to better engage with the democratic process in Australia. We support talented and excellent candidates for positions of public office at all levels of government.
