Labor Unity is a faction within the Australian Labor Party (ALP).

The ALP is a democratically governed Political Party, with 2 biannual conferences, 30 elected committees and over 900 elected positions.

Over time, a variety of structures have evolved to allow members to debate and coordinate their views across these bodies with factions remaining the most common method.

All Young Labor Unity members are invited to an exclusive evening with Bill Shorten MP, Federal Member for Maribyrnong and Convenor of Labor Unity.

As a long‐time member of the Labor Party and former State Secretary of the Australian Workers’ Union, Bill has been a leader for the faction, the party and the broader Australian community.

Refreshments will be provided. Places are limited, so contact Shannon to secure your attendance.
