Labor Unity is a faction within the Australian Labor Party (ALP).

The ALP is a democratically governed Political Party, with 2 biannual conferences, 30 elected committees and over 900 elected positions.

Over time, a variety of structures have evolved to allow members to debate and coordinate their views across these bodies with factions remaining the most common method.

Labor Unity Pre-Election Drinks

Thursday 4th November 2010 – 6pm

In the lead up to the historical 2010 Victorian State Election, Labor Unity invites LU Patriots to the AWU for an opportunity to catch-up, discuss tactics and murder a few lagers. Esteemed speakers will include Senator Stephen Conroy and Bill Shorten MP - donations for marginal seat campaigns will be collected at the door.
